- New Underwear for men: All sizes – boxers/briefs, T-Shirts and tube socks
- Food for our men: Apple Juice, Grape Juice, Spaghetti sauce and dry pasta, canisters of oatmeal or grits, canned fruit and vegetables, jelly, sugar, coffee, rice, canned chili or beef stew, pancake mix (the complete kind where you just add water) and syrup, cookies, crackers, powdered iced tea mix, cooking oil and shortening.
- Paper Products: Paper towels, napkins and toilet paper
- Trash Bags: 32-gallon or larger bags
- Snacks and Drinks for Lunches: Individually packaged snacks and drink boxes for the bagged lunches for men who are working offsite.
- Liquid Laundry Detergent: Here at the Mission we do over 100 loads of laundry each week! Dryer sheets are nice, too.
- Merchandise for our stores: We need your good, gently used furniture!! We also need used clothing, household items, decorations, jewelry, and small electrical appliances (everything needs to be in new or gently used condition with no need of repair). You can call us to see if we pick up in your zip code, and if so, you can schedule a pick-up of your good used items (please call Marcia Monday to Friday between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to schedule a pick-up; for our donation pick-up scheduling line, call (215) 438-3094 and press 2). We can give you a receipt for tax purposes.
- Cleaning Supplies: Furniture polish, liquid hand soap, simple green & glass cleaner
- Personal care supplies for men: Shampoo, antiperspirant, toothbrushes (individually wrapped), toothpaste, soap, wash cloths, shaving cream, combs
- New Toys: Christmas is just around the corner, and so is our toy giveaway for the children and grandchildren of our men, as well as families with children who have been part of the Mission’s After School Club. We need brand new, unwrapped toys (larger gifts as well as stocking stuffers) that the men will then select and wrap for their children/grandchildren. This year we’re also inviting After School Club parents to come and do the same.
