For 20 years, the Lighthouse Thrift Shop has been a vital part of our ministry at 6515 Rising Sun Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia. Our grand opening was the day of our fire. In the days that followed, it became our temporary headquarters as we rebuilt the Mission.

Now, the owner is preparing to sell the building, and we are facing the time-sensitive opportunity to purchase it.

The Lighthouse provides:

• Essential income for the Mission
• Much-needed storage and overflow of thrift store items from our Germantown location
• Job training and employment opportunities for residents in the New Life Program
• A convenient donation drop-off point for our supporters
• Quality, affordable goods that bless our community and help neighbors stretch their dollars
• Opportunities to connect with new friends who discover and support the Mission through the store
