The missionaries of 2nd Antioch Baptist Church brought us two incredibly wonderful feasts! They fed us physically with a delicious spread of fried chicken, turkey and gravy, ham, macaroni and cheese, cabbage, potato salad, a fresh garden salad, bread and dessert. For his Eagle Scout project, Boy Scout Sam Heath and his fellow troop mates planted a vegetable garden for the Mission earlier this summer. We’ve been enjoying the fresh produce – thanks, Sam!
WGM’s operations manager and chaplain, Greg Delgado, brought his daughters, Tabby and Becky, to the Mission to bake cakes and brownies for the men. They did a super job! We devoured the cakes and brownies – thanks, ladies!
Troop 7112 brought smiles and a special treat to the men at the Mission when they baked and served Easter cupcakes and cookies. They also made special centerpieces for our tables. We thank the fine ladies of Troop 7112 for a job well done!
