Dear Friends,
Spring is a season of new life and fresh beginnings, and we are seeing just that at the Whosoever Gospel Mission! We recently celebrated the incredible achievements of three men – Al, David, and Jacobi – who graduated from our New Life Program. Each of them is now financially stable, drug and alcohol free, and living independently. At their graduation, each one shared a powerful testimony of what God has done in his life. Their stories of transformation were a great encouragement, giving hope especially to the men who had newly entered the New Life Program.
As I write this, many other men are on their own journeys of renewal. Thirteen residents are employed and working with their counselors to budget their income, save up for an apartment, and secure safe, affordable permanent housing. Nine men are actively job searching, one man is enrolled in cooking school, and 26 others are working hard in the first phase of our program as they strengthen their foundation before moving on to look for work. Several others are eagerly waiting to enter the program as they are released to us from rehab facilities or prison in the coming weeks.
One of our residents, Gregory, recently shared his powerful testimony about our Career Track Learning Program:
“Before I started the Whosoever Gospel Mission Learning Program, I only had a 9th-grade education. I only knew the basics in math—division, addition, subtraction, and multiplication. In my three months in the program, I’ve become proficient in fractions and algebra, not to mention Social Studies, Reading, Language Arts, and Science. With the tutelage of the teachers, I was able to acquire my GED. I want to give a special thanks to Jason Dexter, Lindsey Layton, and my math tutor, Micah. If not for their hard work and belief in me, I don’t think I would have been able to accomplish my goal.” – Gregory Jones
Gregory’s success, along with so many others, is only possible because of your faithful support. Your prayers, financial gifts, donations of wish list items, volunteer work, and words of encouragement make a lasting impact in the lives of the men we serve. Thank you for being a part of this life-changing ministry. We are so grateful for you!
In His grace and joy,

Heather L. Rice, D.Min.
